Thin, fine, *very* straight hair - ideas for short haircuts?

My hair is fine, and it's really resistant to curling, doesn't hold shape after blowdrying, etc. Any ideas for a short, low-maintanence haircut?

Thin, fine, *very* straight hair - ideas for short haircuts?

Sure, here are some ideas! Think of the hair, not the person. Just look at the hair:

I really like this one: (It's short, and straight, but not TOO short)

http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/bea...

Don't forget, that even though your hair will be short and won't curl or hold shape after blowdrying or anything doesn't mean that it won't do some other things when it's short. Get some 'texturizing" putty, like Bed Head makes some great stuff that can really make your hair do whatever you want. Just work it through your hair and shape! You can have spiky, or soft, or peicey, all kinds of things. Go nuts!

Also, have you ever had short hair before? If your hair is long and then you cut it off, it may have new body and life because gravity isn't pulling it down so harshly! So maybe don't go TOO short, unless you are going to be patient enough to let it grow out. Which isn't bad, that's what I'm doing right now and it's fun having a million different hairstyles while you're growing your hair out! Short hair, straight, will be pretty low-maintenance. Just get some product like bed-head "afterparty" or something (it's in a hot pink tube) and use a little, rub on your hands, and rub your hands into your hair like crazy and go! It will be sexy and fast and great. A good color couldn't hurt either, because everyone knows mousy hair and bad roots showing takes away from an awesome hair cut. If you're going short, go for the whole she-bang. And have fun!!!!

Layering your hair will make it appear fuller and a body perm can help perk it up too.

Thin, fine, *very* straight hair - ideas for short haircuts?

Well like me i have hair like that but i say you get it layered and you blow dry it to make it thick but with layers, you should tease it a bit, some hair spray. SEXY! or you can curl it, and it will you`ll get aot f attention if your friends and family see a big curly sexy thing as a change. :)

a bob, it could really suit you, and would also give some extra volume if you cut the right way

She doesn't really make it look good but it's the easiest, low maintenance cut ever.

Thin, fine, *very* straight hair - ideas for short haircuts?

take a look at victoria beckams latest hair do. It's very cute.

Thin, fine, *very* straight hair - ideas for short haircuts?

Sadly, if you have fine and thin hair the best cut for you is going to be a bob or an undercut. If you get layers, it is going to take out the bulk...which will in turn make your hair appear and feel much thinner....which is what you are trying to avoid. So, get a cute bob...maybe with some facial framing and maybe a side swept bang.

yes, i have manny ideaz 4 that

Cute haircuts for thick, straight hair.?

I really want a new haircut, because I'm getting so bored with my hair. I used to color it to change the look but now I want to keep it my natural color for a while. I have very thick hair, but when you look at it, it doesnt look thick until you touch it. I really want neat layers and maybe side swept bangs. And I want to keep it around the same length it is, not much shorter... Any ideas? Pictures would be nice.... I couldnt find any good pics but here's my hair now: http://a219.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/ima...

Cute haircuts for thick, straight hair.?

that sound really nice having your hair like that.

have you tried straiting more than once that normaly makes my hair (which is realy thick to) more flat.

Cute haircuts for thick, straight hair.?

i'm african american and discovered that the white hair books like sophisticated hair, have the best cuts and color ideas, i have long thick hair, the first time i got layers i almost cried, but it really helped with the weight, b/c my hair was so heavy, and it made rolling it easier, go somewhere like wal-mart and look throught the books, the white ones, not being racial, but us blacks are missing out on the bes cuts in those books, i think someof us feel that since most of our hair isnt super straight that we cant acheive the cut, but find someone who specializes in cutting hair

I have stick straight hair, how should i wear it for my first day of High School?

My hair is too thick to curl and no matter what product i try it never works so i've given up on curling irons and store products. I dont have bangs, but my hair will have long layers and will frame my face. i really want to wear it down someway put still up. How should i wear it?

I have stick straight hair, how should i wear it for my first day of High School?

Why not just embrace the fact that you have the kind of hair that many women would kill for and wear it down. Let it be all swingy and shiny. Or, pull the top back in a half-up and fasten with a hairsafe tie and a pretty (hair safe) ornament.

I have stick straight hair, how should i wear it for my first day of High School?

Maybe you should let someone who is a professional give it a try. Then they can help choose a style that will frame your face right.

I have stick straight hair, how should i wear it for my first day of High School?

Try pulling just a small part from the top/front back into a barette or small clip.

I have stick straight hair, how should i wear it for my first day of High School?

you should go to a hair salon and ask them for a pop-a-don its like a handful of hair that loops over then clicp it into a ponytail it will be cute.give me your address or email me so i can get it to show you what it looks like.

warning:it cant work on shorthaired unless you have weave

I have stick straight hair, how should i wear it for my first day of High School?

You should crimp it. It will look nice.

Do guys like straight hair or curly hair better?

do they like natural curls or straightened hair?

Do guys like straight hair or curly hair better?

Help me with my blonde thin straight hair?

Well I'm a 16 year old guy and have very thin, blonde hair which is shaggy right now. The problem is, is that I shower and wash my hair every single morning because my hair gets very oily and nasty overnight and its out of control and couldnt be controlled with a comb which is why I shower in the morning. Whenver I shower with shampoo, my hair looks very thin during that day and doesnt look full until the night. So the problem is, is that if I do only shower with shampoo every other day my hair might look greasy after I shower and get it wet without shampoo but if I shower with shampoo everyday then it won't look full with its natural oils until night time. I dont know what to do.

Help me with my blonde thin straight hair?

When I became a teenager I started to wash my hair every second morning. But I'd have to sleep hardly moving my head, or else I'd wake up with "bed head". By university I realized it was better for me to wash it every morning.

One thing I learned from research was to bend over with my head down and blow dry it which made it fuller. Another was not to brush it too much as that makes it greasy. Also, don't use the same shampoo everyday--use one with a conditioner every other day, and try a new one when you need to buy more.

Another problem could be your hairstyle. Go to a stylist and get more than one of their opinions.

Finally, I switched to organic shampoo and conditioners after researching the dangers of chemicals in the popular brands of shampoos. They usually all contain a couple chemicals--like parabens, SLS, and coal tar--that are bad for your scalp and hair. All natural shampoos do not have these chemicals.

And if you have hard or soft water in the house will effect your hair also. Don't use very much conditioner in hard water. Hope these work for you.

How long does straight hair have to be to get cornrows and how long will it take?

my hair is about 1 inch long and im wondering how long it will take for my hair to be long enough to get cornrows

How long does straight hair have to be to get cornrows and how long will it take?

4 inches.

How long does straight hair have to be to get cornrows and how long will it take?

It depends on the braider, some are really good and can work with really short hair, others are decent, but need a bit more to work with. so it would need to be minimum 3 up to 6 inches, so if they can work with short hair, by the summer you should be able to get rows, if it needs to be longer, by thanksgiving. straight hair tends to slip so the braider may request you grow it longer then needed for curly hair types.

How long does straight hair have to be to get cornrows and how long will it take?

Growing up in the community I did, I can tell you from personal experience that you do not need much hair at all for an expert braider to give you corn rows (however longer is preferred). And it also depends on what the person wants the corn rows for. If you are just going to wear them as is, it will probably look better and last longer if the hair was longer, however for weave purposes it would be fine.

How to get straight hair without a straightening iron?

For thick hair

How to get straight hair without a straightening iron?

I have extremely thick hair and I use thermal Frizz Ease or maximum strength Frizz Ease. It works great for when I just want to blow dry my hair straight instead of using the straightening iron. It works very well if you want to go w/ a more natural curly/wavy look as well. I just started using this and I've been very impressed so far!

Get a Japanese Thermal Straightening Treatment at your local [higher end] salon.

Without any heat styling tools, there is no cream or mousse or gel that will magically straighten your hair on its own. You can either use heat styling tools or get a chemical treatment like this at your salon.

Get your hair clean and wet, then towel-dry it. Take a handful of GOOD hair gel in your hand and scrunch it through your hair. It should get pretty wavy, and stay that way until you wash it again.

:D

Hope I helped!

I have SUPER straight hair;; and i want to make it really wavy, what do i do?!?!?!?

wash your hair at night and with nice clean hair make a bunch ( or as many as you see fit) of little braids in your hair and when you wake up, undo the braids and your hair will be wavy and cute! or if you have a hair crimper that can make your hair a nice different texture giving the illusion of a wave. i hope you find something that works for you!! :)

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

I used to use Dove shampoo and conditioner. I have tried 2 in 1's Head %26amp; Shoulders, Pert Plus w/ a light conditioner and Selsun Blue. I have to wash my hair daily due to my work environment . I also have to use conditioner due to its length. I have been using Dove again but it still gets greasy and I still have Dandruff. HELP!

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

I totally hear you. I've had the same problem for years.

I've finally found something that works for me. I use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo. Expensive, but marvelous. It has menthol so it exposes the scalp. AFTER that, I use Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment (The orange stuff, best you can buy over the counter). Lastly, I use the Tea Tree conditioner to moisturize.

If that still doesn't work, it's time to see a dermatologist and get a prescription. Don't stop until you get it fixed. Unfortunately, people react very negatively to dandruff, especially if you're young, and assume things about you that can hurt you socially and professionally.

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

The same thing happened to me. Use some of your hairstylists shampoo. Thats what i did.

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

hey buy some head and shoulkders thats stuf works ok trust me i know

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

its greasy because its so dry its producing more oils than needed, i wouldn`t use dandruff shampoos they only made matters worse for me, try using loreal kids 2-in-1 and scrub your scalp with oyur fingertips (not nails) really really well. good luck!

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

Sometimes what works for one does not work for another. Years ago, I had a dandruff and greasy hair problem. As you did, I tried all the dandruff shampoos at no avail. Don't remember where I got the info, but started dousing my head in Listerine every night and every morning. The tingling felt so good on my itchy scalp. After about a week of this, my dandruff completely went away and has never come back .

Hey sorry about the news of you hair. I have the same problem, but I use Pantene by PRO-V hope you use this product! Hope your hair is nongreasy and you have no dandruff!!!Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

this will sound crazy but it works...try sunlight dish detergent (designed to cut grease) and follow with an inexpensive egg shampoo. as for the dandruff..i`ve heard that washing your hair with beer works but i don`t know for sure.

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

Don't stop using head and shoulders! Try to use the one that has the pink background, Its a smoothing one and also use the same conditioner, it makes a big difference! Don't put any serums or moisturisers onto your scalp as it will make it worse. If it has just started doing this recently it could be a number of things such as stress, bad diet even a bout of eczema or similar. Unfortunately our hair and our skin are always the first to show these problems.

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

The absolute best is the new brand called ORGANIX.

Organix has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing!

You can get Organix at Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc.

You'll love it!

I have long straight hair that only recently has had a dandruff issue and is also greasy...any help?

Dandruff is one of the major disorders of the scalp.Poor hygiene, improper diet ,sluggish condition of the scalp caused by poor blood circulation are the main causes of dandruff. A herbal rinse is a safe method of removing dandruff. Apply lemon juice with the rind on the scalp .After 5 minutes wash off with shampoo and water. How can I keep my hair straight for longer?

Hey..I straighten my hair every morning and it lasts for about 20-30 minutes and then it starts to go wavy again and because I have the short chopppy/razor layers it looks weird when wavy lol..Is there anything that I could do or use to keep it straighter for longer??

Please Help x.x

How can I keep my hair straight for longer?

I have long, curly hair, but I like to wear it straight most of the time because it's just less of a hassle. This is the exact regimen I've been following since I was in high school (I'm graduating college now): I wash my hair with either Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Sleek shampoo followed by the conditioner, or if you have recently colored your hair as I sometimes do, Frederik Fekkai's technicolor line (is pink in color, sold at many beauty stores/salons such as Ulta and Sephora, even some bath and body works flagship stores). I then use a defrizzer/straightening sebum by Phyto called Phytodefrisant (this line is AMAZING!!!!!! also sold at many beauty stores and some bath and body works stores). Then I use my favorite blow dryer ever, the Twin Turbo 2500 (really expensive, around $100 bucks) with the diffuser attached to the end along with a huge boars hair-bristled brush with good ventilation. If your hair is not very long, you don't need such a big brush (your hair's length should only be able to wrap around the brush one time). If you don't have the money to buy such an expensive hair dryer, be sure to at least get one with a diffuser attached to the end, although the hair dryer you use is a very important factor in how your hair comes out. Then I used a straightening iron: I use the Hot Tools gold plated one ($30), but there are SO many. The Chi ceramic straightener is really good, but it's also really expensive, so I just stick with the Hot tools one because it gets the job done. Finally, especially if it is humid, or if your hair is dry, OR if you just want some extra shine, use a gloss to block out moisture that tends to flow into your hair (moisture flows from high moisture to low moisture, so if your hair is dry, and the air around you is just a little damp, the moisture will be attracted into your hair and voila! RUINED!). I used m.o.p.'s high gloss serum (it's organic, so I like it, but there are SO MANY, even at local drugstores). If you have dry hair i also recommend hot oil treatments once every week or two because split ends cause frizz, and wavy hair is prone to frizz. GOOD LUCK! I HOPE THIS HELPS!!!! =)

How can I keep my hair straight for longer?

i use a shampoo and conditioner by Pantene Pro-V called Extra Straight... this keeps my hair straighter longer.

you can also try getting a more powerful flat iron of use a straighting balm or spray

hope i helped :)

How can I keep my hair straight for longer?

Use shampoo and conditioner that helps make hair straight. Blow dry it straight w/ a round brush and put on some smoothing creme for heat. Straighten it and make sure you are doing LITTLE pieces so the heat can penetrate. Use a smoothinf/holding creme when you are done. It should stay!!

How to curl straight hair?

I only have a curling brush, and I don't know how to use that. how can i curl my hair with it so that it'll stay in that shape for at least a few hours?

How to curl straight hair?

I have straight hair and this is my way of doing it:

1. wash your hair using a volumizing shampoo(any brand is fine)

2. take a towel and squeeze excess water out of hair

3. take about 2 handfuls of any brand of curl enhancing mousse, depending on how much hair you have will determine the amount of mousse you use, lather all throughout hair

4. flip your hair over and scrunch using your hands, after you scrunch your hair, spray extra firm hold hairspray in your hair, and scrunch a little bit more(i use alot of hairspray so the curls will hold all day)

5. while your hair is still flipped over, blowdry on low until it is completly dry all-over. remember, scrunch your hair as you blowdry it.

How to curl straight hair?

first use a curling iron. it takes some time. but it is worth it. secondly apply a generous amount of mousse to your hair and then use some sponge rollers and sleep in them. it works fantastic and stays for well over a day. hope it helps. =)

How to curl straight hair?

buy the curl prep lotion from garnier frutics

How to curl straight hair?

well... without getting a perm I would say get a curling iron... It works pretty well. I have two of them. Or you could try sponge curlers. They are the bomb. I use those when I want tight curls all day long. They work great.

How to curl straight hair?

I wet my hair and put in curling serum and them either twist it or braid it and undothe curls/braids when they're dry..

How to curl straight hair?

All you need to do is buy a really good curling iron. I own a Hot Tools iron that was really pricey but I also have a Revlon iron that I love. It gives me really pretty curls that hold all day. Curling your hair takes practice so just keep at it and be patient. Also, you're going to need a good hair spray to hold the curl. I use Paul Mitchell Firm Hold Spray. This stuff is great because it has a strong hold but you're able to brush out your hair at the end of the day. Good luck and keep practicing with the curling iron and I know you'll achieve the curls you want.

How to curl straight hair?

ROLLERS OR A CURLING IRON

How to curl straight hair?

well theres another way i usually do it with gel/hair spray after a while it dries and comes out nice a crunchy/curly

How to curl straight hair?

After you get out of the shower braid your hair and leave it like that until it dries. Then, take the braids out and there you go!!! (Don't use a brush after taking the braids use a pick a brush will make curly hair frizzy)

How to curl straight hair?

i've heard of rollers and i think i know what a curling iron is but a curling brush? have no idea try rollers they are quite good

How to curl straight hair?

I have no idea what a curling brush is. If you are talking about those round ones with the bristles all over, that's meant to straighten hair. Use curling irons, or take a shower and put your hair in a bun and dry it completely then it will be curly and use mousse.

How to curl straight hair?

The best method I know to curl hair when hair is straight is to roll your hair on perm rods. If you want really curly hair this is best. You have to roll it up just like you were getting a perm. Papers and all. The smaller the rod the curlier the hair is. Must make sure the paper is at end of hair so you don't get fuzzy ends. I would use this method on my daughter's hair when she was younger and it looks as though you just got a curly perm. It is really cute especially if your hair has a little length to it. Hope this helps.

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

when i get out of the shower i put volumizer in my hair then i blow dry it and it is as flat as asphalt in texas please help me?!?!?!?!?!?

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

Be careful with how much product you are putting in your hair...putting in too much can weigh your hair down rather than give you more body. One thing that is great at giving your hair volume is hot rollers; leave them in for 15 minutes and your hair will be full all day. Or if you don't have a lot of time, try using a round brush at your roots while blow drying.

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

What exactly do you need help with?

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

try a curling iron, with some leave in conditioner and gel.

or put curlers in your hair (go with the relle giant ones mixed with the tiny ones for more volume).

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

Got2B products are really great. They have volumizing products that you can put on right out of the shower. Then u can try to blow dry upside down....

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

What's an asphalt?

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

my hair is the same way!! when i want some volume i put some styling gel and hair spray in it and i play with it until it dries on its own then i use a curling iron and give it some loose curls

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

For more volume, try blow drying and combing your hair upside down. If you want curls then put curlers in your hair and blow dry it for about a minute or so. Then use hairspray to keep it in place.

I have naturally straight hair and i need HELP WITH IT PLEASE?

Lower the amount of product you are putting in to it-and keep the product away from the roots. Use rollers or small hair clips to pull the hair up from the scalp. After it dries you should have more volume. :-)

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

noth look good...it depends on how u look. some people suit straight, and some wavy. it all depends, but both are very flattering!

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

i say beachy hair, bone straight always looks greasy :p besides anybody can pull off beachy hair, its just a gorgeous working style...i wish i had your beachy hair...:P

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

beachyyy

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

i prefer wavy hair. it looks way better and bone straight just looks a bit lifeless. wavy is better. not too curly, not too straight.

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

I think beachy wavy hair looks more natural and much better than flat ironed hair that I can tell is fake.

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

both

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

You can wear it at different times.

I like straight hair for more formal times,

but I like beachy hair for more relaxed times.

But I think that if you like your beachy waves,

you should keep it.

Lassie :D

What looks better - bone straight hair or beachy wavy hair?

i think beachy waves are prettiest because they look more natural and are harder to mess up! they're just so low-key and cool- like u stepped right our of an american eagle ad! :)

Intresting hairs style for long straight hair?

Long layers with alot of texture to give it movement.

Intresting hairs style for long straight hair?

I have long hair and I suggest NOT cutting it. Short hair is only trend. I've learned the magic of a curling iron. It gives your hair BIG beautiful curls. See how my hair is done here:

Intresting hairs style for long straight hair?

The inverted bob is all the rage at the moment and you can have a long version of that done. its very sleek and stylish and you can change it easily when you get fed up of it. Sorry no pictures of it but you cant help but see them in every magazine on the shelf. Posh spice is the most famous example.

How can I manage my limp, straight hair?

My hair always falls flat, even when I don't use conditioner and use volumizing products. Does anyone have any helpful tips for dealing with my type of hair? I have to wash my hair everyday because it feels really gross if I don't. My scalp isn't that oily, but my hair just feels greasy.

How can I manage my limp, straight hair?

It really depends on what you are looking for, Layers and texturizing are great options, if you do not want to cut you could try a spray Or frozen wax(do not use just a regular wax), a little goes a long way. You don't want it to look greasy. put a small bit in your hands turn head upside down and run through. Then without adding more hit the root area. Brush and add hairspray if you use it to lock

How can I manage my limp, straight hair?

you look like a hundred bucks just the way you are

I have straight hair how do i turn that into wavy hair?

p.s i have short hair

I have straight hair how do i turn that into wavy hair?

Don't shampoo for a while (it works for my brother!)

But seriously, just follow the other people's advice.

I have straight hair how do i turn that into wavy hair?

use VO5 curveceous curl styling mousee. works very well

I have straight hair how do i turn that into wavy hair?

i guess you'd haave to get a body wave....(perm)!!!YICKES!!!

I have straight hair how do i turn that into wavy hair?

Use a shampoo like Herbal Essences Curls %26amp; Waves to boost your waves, use conditioner and comb your hair in the shower. Shake your hair but don't brush it. then use a curling iron when your hair is completely dry. Your hair should be curly. Then, spray on some curling spray and hairspray and you're done! I do this almost everyday because I love how I look with wavy/curly hair.

I have straight hair how do i turn that into wavy hair?

they have special wavey hair curlers at like wal- mart for $15.00 i think

Using Rollers on Straight Hair?

Well I just started curling my hair in spirals with rollers, I put the rollers on damp hair and then take them off in the mornings but the spirals/curls don't seem to stay curl, I take them off and its curly but then after a minute or two they are gone and my hair seems all flat again. What Can I do to Maintain the spirals perfect???? What should I put before and after the rollers??? Thanks

Using Rollers on Straight Hair?

1) Make sure that the hair is COMPLETELY dry before taking out the curlers!

2) Twist hair strands before putting them into the curlers if you don't do that already.

3) Use gel, hairspray, etc in the hair while it's still wet. Hairspray is good because it's light and holds well.

4) When when you take the curlers out and have the curls the way you want, soak it with a hard-hold hairspray. This will work! If you tried hairspray and it didn't work, you just need stronger hairspray. There's hairspray out there that can keep foot-high mohawks standing straight up for days, so there's definitely a hairspray that'll keep your curls in!

Using Rollers on Straight Hair?

Really the trick about this is what my sister told me. When your hair is damp us HAIRSPRAY only hairspray. Put hairspray on the strand that your puttin the curler on. Pin the curlers in and put hairspray over it. When you take them out in the morning put more hairspray in them, but not too much or it will feel rough, comb it out. Don't comb out the curls. It should stay in. If not then go to your stylest and see what they can do.= ]é–³?br>Using Rollers on Straight Hair?

A styling mouse or a styling lotion applied to towel dried hair and rolled on rollers should work.

Using Rollers on Straight Hair?

You can use something called lotta body or setting lotion this helps the curls stay longer and then use holding spray to keep the curls through out the day

I have short STRAIGHT hair?

i wonder if i coudl sue a straighner as a lifting tool, to lift andmake a "wave" inmy hair, how do I explain this, like give my hair a lift by using a straightner?if i use hair putty

I have short STRAIGHT hair?

You can use some root lifter and then hold the hair straight up and place the flat iron at the root and pull through and kind of bend the hair gradually to under cup the ends. good luck. It works for longer hair also. Allow the hair to cool down before combing through, then just finger lift and spray.

I have short STRAIGHT hair?

umm, are you talking about you want to wave your hair?

http://www.americanprohaircare.com/image...

use somthing like that.

its called a hair waver.

you can buy it anywhere.

I have short STRAIGHT hair?

yes you can create volume with a straightening iron

you can also get it to curl with a straightening iron

next time you get your haircut.. ask your stylist how to use the iron to create volume and curl

How do you get straight hair without losing the volume?

I love the way my wavy hair looks when I straighten it but I cant figure out how to keep it from going limp. My hair is just a tiny bit longer than shoulder length with layers if that helps.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

How do you get straight hair without losing the volume?

use aerosol hairspray on your roots only when your hair is wet then apply a smoothing product like john Fredia's frizz ease then blow dry, straighten then again apply more hairspray to roots, slightly tease roots, style hair and a light mist of hairspray to hold.

How do you get straight hair without losing the volume?

Get the temporary straight perms. They work really well, and you won't get super limp hair with them. I think you have to get them at salons though -- I've never noticed it in the perming section, but the stores where I live tend to suck royally, so that's no indication that you can't find it.

How do you get straight hair without losing the volume?

use a volume and fullness shampoo..or go to ur nearest parlour..they may help..

How do you get straight hair without losing the volume?

Instead of straightening with a flat iron, use a blow dryer with a round- bristle brush.it will give it more volume,at least more than a flat iron can, promise!

How do you get straight hair without losing the volume?

try using a volumeizing shampoo and conditioner and follow it up with some mousse. once you blow dry it straight for a little extra volume flip your head and add some heat from underneath then flip your head back.

How do you get straight hair without losing the volume?

If u want bounce and volume after a hair wash, while doing the blow dry bend your head in such a way that all the hair hangs down with head uside down then start brushing the hair from the roots to the tips.continue till it dries. If u want apply some conditioner or hair cream before doing it. try it out it works really

Hair problem, I have bone straight hair?

and I need help trying to find a solution curling my hair so that it is curly, any suggestions??

Hair problem, I have bone straight hair?

I have a cousin who has this problem. I mean, she would curl her hair using all the correct products, leaving the curlers in for the correct amount of time, and within an hour all the curl would fall out, and her hair would be straight again!

She tried perms, which only lasted for a week. She tried hot steam curlers, and curling irons--they lasted less than an hour.

Now she has "decided to embrace her hairs natural beauty" and leaves it straight. She just makes sure that it is always clean and super shiny, and she has other women envying her shiny straight hair.

If you want curls for just a night, I suggest a curling iron and freezing spray. If you want to try to get permanent curls, go to a professional hairdresser, and make sure she isn't going to make you look like a poodle.

Hair problem, I have bone straight hair?

perm it

Hair problem, I have bone straight hair?

use a curling shampoo or gel .. then curl your hair with a curling iron .. next, use some more of the gel and scrunch scrunch and scrunch your hair. to get more volume at the roots, apply the gel and use your fingers and lift the hair upward ..hold it for a few seconds and let it fall back down .. then pick it up again.. do this a couple of times to achieve our desired look.

Hair problem, I have bone straight hair?

i have the same problem...i think the best way is to go to a hairdresser and ask them or try and use curlying chemicals and then try and curl them with a curler.

Hair problem, I have bone straight hair?

put hair rollers in damp hair and use good setting lotion and then let your hair air dry normally creates long lasting curls as hair drys into curl shape around rollers.

Hair problem, I have bone straight hair?

When you use a curling iron, liberally spray each section of hair immediately before twisting it around the iron. This makes a huge difference. This is how I get big, voluminous waves.

If I want a tighter curl, I use Tigi Curls Rock! curl-enhancing lotion. It comes in a blue pump and I just work it through my damp hair and let it air-dry. I don't even comb my hair! This gives my hair a wilder curl.

I have short STRAIGHT hair?

i wonder if i coudl sue a straighner as a lifting tool, to lift andmake a "wave" inmy hair, how do I explain this, like give my hair a lift by using a straightner?if i use hair putty

Grow my chemically straight hair longer?

I want to grow my chemically straighted hair like past my shoulders by September. My hair length is right to my jawline.Does any one have any tips on how to grow my hair longer by Sept.

Grow my chemically straight hair longer?

Keep your scalp clean, keep your hair moisturized with lotions and oils that don't contain petroleum or mineral oil, limit or cease heat use, eat well, drink plenty of water, take multi vitamins... use high quality conditioners... and don't comb your hair too often, I braid my hair up and put it under a satin cap and I wear a wig most days so not to have to fuss with it.

Also, never go to bed with your hair out, wear a fitted satin or silk cap, it'll reduce breakage and dryness.

this site should give you some tips and information

http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/

Grow my chemically straight hair longer?

Try a sew in weave. It'll give your natural hair time to relax from chemicals and irons; thus less breakage. I really think it'll take a bit longer still to grow it past your shoulders. A really great stylist can make a weave look like the real thing.

Grow my chemically straight hair longer?

How can I get REALLY straight hair?

I have have thick, curly, course hair ( its also very dry) and when ever I straighten it the result is poofy looking dry hair and also because I have so much hair I can't wear it down I have to wear in a ponytail. So can someone please help me??

How can I get REALLY straight hair?

If your hair is that unruly then you would need it professionally chemically straightened for ultimate straight hair. Otherwise you'll have to continue using the correct products along with a ceramic straightener for the second best results.

How can I get REALLY straight hair?

buy a straightner it will help just put some of your hair up then do that section of hair then put the other section back down do that then do it all togetther

I want me some straight hair !?

i dont want to use anything that will damage or burn my hair . like using a straightener ! anything cheap , any homemade tonics anything anything . that doesnt ruin da hair!

I want me some straight hair !?

use herbal esscenses moose and straighten your hair

it wouldn't damage it and it will be straighter than ever

I want me some straight hair !?

Then get you a straightener!

I want me some straight hair !?

ahaha.. so naive.

you think you can do anything unnatural to your hair [[like making it straight when it is curly]] without damaging it?

I want me some straight hair !?

There is this stuff you put in your hair when its damp that will reduce heat dammage, but you have to blowdry your hair for it to activate, thats the only thing I can recomend. You can use a straightener as long as you don't use it everyday, your hair will be fine.

I want me some straight hair !?

use special shampoos and conditioners to help straighten your hair. Also, when you do happen to have straight hair, put in gel to lock it straight. But if you really want straight hair, then you really need a straightener.

I want me some straight hair !?

i heard that if you wrap and ACE bandage around your hair in an upward position like a unicorn and sleep with it, your hair will be pin straight

i tried it and it worked but it wasn't PIN straight, just straighter...

hahah just don't let anyone see you with it on!

I want me some straight hair !?

sorry. none

I want me some straight hair !?

your only options are to blow dry it straight OR use a flat iron.

ANY CHEMICAL you put on your head will damage your hair. There are no home remedies that will make your hair straight.

go buy yourself a CHI flat iron and use a protectant. don't use a cheap flat iron.

I want me some straight hair !?

keep your hair curly, my hair is really straight and i long to have some curls or something

I want me some straight hair !?

nothing will not ruin your hair.

althouh if your hair is curly and frizzy

try using some poof control, or maybe

john frieda flyaway control ( shampoo and conditioner).

if you really want straight hair use your straightener but

before you starighten it put on some serum.

I want me some straight hair !?

Try a straitener.....but that can damage your hair if you use it alot soo go to a local store and they should have a shampoo and conditioner that will cure most kinks and waves...then use the staitener to get the left over waves/// I use "Hairapy, Straiten up" It works.....

Hope i could help!

Tips for curly-to-straight hair?

I am multi racial [irish, native american and black] and have naturally curly hair but I usually straighten it.

I know that it is EXTREMELY important to choose your haircare products well, so does anyone have any suggestions for hair products to use in my hair that

1) wont's dry it out

2) help frizziness

3) keep it soft and smooth even thought i applu heat

4) keep from caking up on my scalp

personal experience/similar hair type only please! THANK YOU!!!!

Tips for curly-to-straight hair?

i also have curly hair which i usually straighten for convenience. i looked forever for the perfect product that would help with your list above, and finally, a few months ago i found it! it's deepshine bio-marine therapy by rusk. it's in a teal bottle. it's about $20 a bottle and can only be bought at salons, i used it for months almost every day and it just ran out. but i swear it's the best. you apply it before using any heat products. my hair is never dry afterwards, always soft, no flaking or caking ever, won't make your hair greasy, and NO FRIZZIES!!!. before using it my hair would frizz up at almost anything, and now the only time that happens is when it starts raining. i highly reccomend it!!

Tips for curly-to-straight hair?

VO5 or CHI stuff

How can i get straight hair...?

I don't want to use that straightening stuff... i just want to use my straightening iron... but it will not work... i have medium wavy hair, but its very thick, (and i don't use gel)... but is there a type a gel that will help my iron work? if so what kind? and do i put it in let my hair dry then straighten? i want it kinda spiked too!

How can i get straight hair...?

first, blow it dry (hot) with a round bristle ceramic brush. then put straightening serum (IC has a pink bottle). dont put too much, you dont want your hair to get greasy. then make sure you have a good ceramic flat iron. you can get a good one at a beauty supply store for $40. take your time with your hair. its hard at first, but when you get to know your hair, it gets easier. do it sections at a time and focus on that one section. then, when its flat and straight, use whatever gel or products you want to get it spikey. but remember, only put the serum on your hair when your straightening it. otherwise, the gel will make it sticky and unmanageable.

How can i get straight hair...?

The iron should be good enough....make sure your doing it right, and put it on high setting. that should help %26amp; hope it does =]

How can i get straight hair...?

u should use hair wax it helps straighten curly hair

How can i get straight hair...?

Let your hair dry naturally, as hairdrying can damage your hair almost as bad as straightening, if done too often. Then, you need some good Irons. I recommend GHD's or CHI's. Then, to achieve a spiky, straight look, smooth on some shine serum, as this will make your hair appear shiny and spiky on the ends.

GL!

xxxx

How can i get straight hair...?

Yes. I have your problem too. If you have a hair straightener (also known as a straightening iron), I'm expecting yours is a small one, right? If it is, you have to get a big one that has a comb connected to it that doesn't change tempurature- that's just automatic. If you're using one without a comb, those are for americanish hair that's really thin and... not thick. I've been frustrated for a long time, too.

How can i get straight hair...?

i agree with the first person. the hot iron should be enough if its on a high enough setting or you could get it chemically straightened.

How can i get straight hair...?

uise a heat protector spray use it after you take a shower and your hair isnt too damp. once your hair is lightly wet apply that spray and wait about 30 mins to strat straightening it. remember if you dont want to do too much damage let your hair be fully dried before straightening

How can i get straight hair...?

Try blow drying it until it's all dry, then using the straightener all over. To make it kind of spiky at the ends you could put some stuff from joico called pomade...it will make the ends look spiked and smooth.

How can i get straight hair...?

use thin peices of hair (the smaller the straighter) and try using that Herbal Essences straightening shampoo. it works for me to get my hair straighter without an iron. it might help. i know it's expensive, but you shouldn't use a lot of it. a little goes a long way. use a light weight gel that won't make your hair stiff and when you are done use hairspray (very lightly!!!!!!) so it doesn't decide to change on you.

How can i get straight hair...?

well.....i have the same prob as you...but luckily i have found a solution!!!!! take smaller portions of ur hair and straighten it without anything in your hair....then after it's all straightened, you can spray hairspray all over your hair....then brush it....not too much becuase it may become frizzy...then find like some sculpting wax or styling wax they call it...put a bit on ur finger tips and run your fingers through your hair....you could also find some silk drops to put in your hair before you blow dry it that will help decrease you frizz....hope i could help....GOOD LUCK!!!

How can i get straight hair...?

If you use a straightener it only stays for one day.... But you can go to pretty much any beauty supply place, and you can buy relaxer, it keeps your hair straight for much longer than if you just use a ceramic iron.

How can i get straight hair...?

Chi makes great products for this. And using an extremely high temp. Salons normally use an iron that is about $300 that works great, but I found ones at Walmart that work just as well. Just take a 1' by 1/2' strand of your hair at a time. I use to straighted my hair ALL of the time. My boyfriend saw me fresh out of the shower one day and realized I had curly hair and his mouth dropped. It took little convincing after his response, but now I do the natural thing and am ALWAYS getting compliments from people.

Try going natural, you might be surprised!!!

P.S. I'm now married to the man.

How can i get straight hair...?

Wavy hair is beautiful! I would not recommend using a straightening iron, it bakes your hair and damages it a lot. Over time it will lose its effect and your hair will get really damaged. Don'tdo it while your hair is wet, you could electricute yourself unless it's a special kind of iron.

How can i get straight hair...?

My sister has similar hair to yours, and tried to straighten it with an a straightening iron, but it didnt turn out the way she wanted. It will make your hair smoother, but it wont suddenly turn into super-straight hair.

Since you dont want to fry your hair, you may want to just not fight having wavy hair. Having curly hair is so cool! So work with the hair you have.

How can i get straight hair...?

well for my hair i use a chi iron and it gets my hair really straight........ but if u want your hair straight and kinda spiked then you need to buy spike it or gell it [yellow bottle] and a iron for hair.

How can i get straight hair...?

Okay if you follow these directions exactly you will get the hair you want. I have a friend with the exact same hair and I got it perfectly straight.

First you need a good hair straightener.

This is the one I use and it is absolutly amazing and I highly recommend it: http://www.asenashop.com/pg/showpic.php?...

Next you need a hair dryer and some hair syrum.

For hair syrum I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Hair Syrum

http://www.paulmitchell.com/Products/Pau...

After you get out of the shower, apply two or three squirts into the palm of your hand and run it through your hair. Comb it through and do your best to blowdry it as straight as you can. After that use the flat iron to straighten it.

If you want it kind of spiked, add some more of the hair syrum at the ends to make them stick out.

How can i get straight hair...?

Before you straighten your hair rush out your hair with one of those comb brushes. The straighten your hair but first spray the heat protection spray on each strand you straighten to protect your hair from burning. Hope I've helped!!!

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

For me I like curly hair, like this in the picture.... http://www.barbaralaurie.com/kenbrowar/b...

anyone agree?

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

Your right, and straight hair is too popular in schools right now. For one thing straighting your hair every day ( like most girls do!) is really bad for it, and another thing is that when your hair is straight your not going to get noticed. One of the more daring girls in my year does curl her hair, and her hair probably looks the healthiest out of all the others. When you straighten your hair it ruins it, and makes it too flat also.

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

Because it was acceptable in the 80's... the 80's.

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

it's probably because straight hair suits all hair lengths and it doesnt take long to do in the morning. also curly hair is a lot more daring than straight. i know i'm not brave enough to wear my hair curly to school because it either looks really nice or really mad.

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

Its not just in schools, straight hair is in at the moment, like everything it comes and goes

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

me to looks very nice. maybe it easy to do than make your hair curly

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

because it is 'in' at the moment. and because it is fairly easy to look after and style

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

Because its less daring.. and anyway its easier... hair is easier to straiten. And plus.. curls can look too.. 'over donne' or 'too perfect'.. so people opt for the other choice..which happens to be dead strait hair..

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

I think straight hair is very popular every where. I straighten my hair because it's quick, easy and makes my hair look tidier. I would like to curl my hair but it takes longer to do and I dunno how to do it very well.

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

media

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

Because all the inteligents has strait hairs , I think that curly hairs are more sexy then the strait ones but girls are more studious these days , actully I don't understand that what has happen to girls these days actuuly they were OK till 3 years back like the one we saw in Delhi Public School , RK Puram 3 years ago, how advance she was and she do had curly hairs, god know why girls are changing but I request you to not change and go for your curly hairs

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

Straight hair is more common, Therefore if you have straight hair it's easy to make it straighter or to leave it the way it is.

curly hair is less common naturally, while curly hair is still really cool in my book- If you don't naturally have curly hair it takes a lot of work, time, money, and maitnence to keep it that way....so... I made sense to me at least...lol!

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

i totally agree i like loose beach curly hair a lot of girls im my school don't wear there hair ultra straight now x

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

i love having my hair curly but it takes sooo long to do that i rarely have it lyk that. Straightening is easier coz you can even do it the night before you go to school... and no-one can be botherd to do anything in the mornings! xxxx

Why are straight hair in schools so popular now??

Unfortunately straight hair is easy to achieve nowadays with the hair straightener Straight hair has only become popular say from 2003 I preferred the look before the straightener where it was okay to have frizz in the hair

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

I've been trying to scrunch my hair for like ever and ever. It's really really thin and goes to my shoulders. I have this curl amplifyer (sorry about the spelling) gel. I'm going to take a shower right now because my friend is comming over, when I get out how do I scrunch it. I used to do it with hairspray but it was as hard as straw and looked bad. Help please!!! I feel like nothing ever works with my hair.

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

Well, you should get moose it works better.

but you put enough in your hands to get enough in all of your hair then just run it through your hair with your fingers then just kind of squeeze the hair tightly in your hands several times if you do it right it will be what you want. then apply hairspray to keep it in shape.

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

it's cool on the spelling same here lol make sure your hair is wet

then use a good gel like garnier ! and rub gel in your habds and then scrunch your hair and or ger herbal essencece scrunch me up gel i thik that's teh name of it it's purpkle i want to get it too my hair has a wave to it when it's wet X_X %26lt;3

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

Get some moose! That works!! Then just put some in your hand and scruch a big handful of moose into it and keep srunching untill it isn't noticable anymore! Since you don't want to have the hard hair effect get none buildup moose!!

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

I suggest getting a hair voulmizing shampoo.. suave sells one for under $1.50. But if time is of the essence I suggest showering, with shampoo NO conditioner, then towel dry lightly. Then get your gel turn your hair upside down and apply while scrunching in your fingers, then add a little hair spray.. let dry naturally. I also, have straight hair that looks like straw at times and this works for me. Good Luck.

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

to scrunch your hair, leave it slightly damp then use mousse or gel and scrunch. I find mousse works better than gel. Also, try keeping your hair in french braids over night. This will give it some wave when you take the braid out so that will help with the scrunching.

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

Try tressemme curl locking gel. That's what I use and at first its like hard/crunchy but after a while just keep scrunching it and that feeling should go away.

How to scrunch thin, straight hair with gel?

ur not alone...I have the same kinda problem, but the solution is to come out if the shower. Squeeze the excess water out and wait until your hair is dry. Then use GEL(long hold kind is the best!) this will take patience so bare with me... Squeeze the gel onto your hands and go throught your ahir. If you want to keep the curls nice and neat then use a hair dryer....

Good luck! ^^ worked for me...

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

I've tried to curl my hair but it never works. My friend tried to scrunch my hair but it didn't work (it could have been because my hair was too wet). Does anyone have some tips?

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

on damp NOT wet and not dry hair (about 85-90% dry):

section hair into 1 to 2 inch sections (preferably at an angle) and twist , twist , twist into itself. it will start to bend - let it. keep twisting. once it twists all the way down use a bobby pin (wrap the ends around the pin) to pin the ends down. (remember the girl on the first 'survivor'? - i think it was 'survivor' and i think it was the first year). spray with a setting lotion or with a spray gel, let dry completely, take down and finger comb with pomade.

i do it for my stepdaughter whose hair is so fine it's almost transparent and it stays for like 3 days! unless it's done , she needs to shampoo it daily because it gets so greasy. (yuk)

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

get a curling iron

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

go get a Perm

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

perm or curling iron

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

Well, usually stick strait hair is easy to style. If your hair is longer than past your shoulders, than it would be kind of hard. You should try a ceramic curling iron. If you get one that's $30, than your in good hands. It beats going to a hair stylist! If your hair is very thick, get the biggest ceramic curing iron you can find. And if your hair is extremely long, try to get the longest ceramic curling iron. Just don't get a gold plated curling iron. It will seriously damage your hair.

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

i think that u should may sure that ur hair is all the way dry or get some of those curling irons that u put on the stove so that they get really hot

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

I have really straight hair too. The best thing to use is rollers - put them in when your hair is wet, spray with some curling aid sprays %26amp; hairspray %26amp; then slowly blow dry or leave them in overnight %26amp; spray with hairspray when you take them out. Won't fail to work.

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

I know if you scrape your hair really hard with your nail it will become curly. Try it. Another thing, let your hair naturally curl up when finished with showering.

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

Unless you get it permed, any treatment, potion, lotion, spray or implement you try will only give you temporary results at best.

You say you don't want to perm, but there is a 7-day perm on the market which you might try to see how you like it. However, it's just as much work to do the 7-day as it is to do a regular perm so be prepared to spend plenty of time on it.

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

there is a shampoo on the market that will make your hair curly when you shampoo with it.

if you don't want to put any harsh chemicals in your hair, try this.

Also using a setting lotion and putting curlers in it will hold for the day.

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

get a perm but dont use the heating machine.leave the perming stuff overnight.remember to apply conditioner

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

Dragon : has you tried stylinggels? well the best efforts

is use that stuff in hair as yourself has an styling wand rolling

up wards repeat completely see http://www.beautyandhairsupply.com !

I have stick straight hair. How do I curl it??

I use steam rollers to hold curl on days that I want my straight hair "wavy", not easy to find but look on eBay. the steam locks in curls and is the only thing that will hold.

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

I have tried before, but didn't get much result. I have tried taking a shower at night, towel drying, then putting in a messy bun and going to sleep, but when i take out the bun in the morning, my hair isn't really scrunchy, its kinky, like someone folded it in random places. Then i tried a curiling sray, and it made my hair really frizzy. What can i do to make sure my hair doesn't turn out kinky and frizzy, but still get the cute scrunch look!???

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

If it's anything like my hair - it won't.

However, if you want curls, my hair has pretty good success with these foam/wire twist curlers by Conair. They are really soft and easy to sleep in.

I wash my hair, put some moose in while it's wet, put the curlers in, and wait for them to dry (usually overnight and then I blowdry them in the morning) It usually gives my hair pretty good curl - but it's not a scrunched look.

BTW - my hair is sleek and strait and fine/thin and doesn't curl for anything - so the fact that I can get curls at all is a miracle.

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

Use moose=]=]

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

get hair sruncher!

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

well if u dont really like your hair straight get a perm i did along time ago like when i was in 2nd grade and now im in 7th and its still really curly to keep my hair curly i take a shower in the morning then but moose in it then scrunch it with my hands then i put gel in it and scrunch it again then i take my towel and get some of the wetness out then pput hairspray in it ya its alot of products to use but it stays curly all day

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

My best friend would do this - right after you get out of the shower, bend over so your hair is hanging and just kinda scrunch it with your hands and let it dry

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

i've got the same issue, but i got used getting half of my hair to look scrunch, and cuz it's long i kinda like it, people think it's my natural hair when it's actually flat like paper haha

what i do is put on fructis leave in conditioner, the antifrizz type, after i towel dry my hair i put that on and then make the messy bun as nice as possible, so that after like 2hrs i can let my hair loose and it has a wavy look all day:)

also try not to comb your hair too much or it will cause more frizz, i honestly don't comb my hair, actually... i own no brushes:p I've been using p antene proV conditioner, leave it on for 1 or 2 mins during the shower, i can really run my fingers through hair without any tangles during the day... unless i use moose on those exceptional party nights out, but i dislike hairsrpays and moose they ruin my hair and make it look very dull!

it may not be what you're looking for, but give it a try on a day you feel like putting a pony tail in case you don't like it...best of luck!

How do I get my straight hair to scrunch???

I had this problem too...the best stuff that I found is of the Aussie brand of hair products and is called sprunch. You just spray it on and scrunch your hair for a few minutes i even flip mine upside down and do it and it says you dont have to but I then let it dry I dont touch it at all for about 15 minutes and then you can pull some of it or all of it up for a neat up-do or just let it go when your done scrunching if you want it down.

Going from straight hair to wavey. Any tips?

I'm getting a headline perm tmw (It's like a wave that lasts about 12weeks). Can you towel dry your hair then let it dry naturally or will that ruin the waves? What's the best way to style my hair to get nice defined healthy looking waves?

Going from straight hair to wavey. Any tips?

hiya buy yourself a hair defusser from boots they r real cheap and wen ure hair is wet put some moose in it and curl defining spray and defuse your hair with it then you should have curly hair, hope ive been some help :)

Going from straight hair to wavey. Any tips?

one thing my hair was staight then i got a perm omg now the perm won't go away so keep your hair straight i would say bc my hair is bad now but if u do get a perm make sure to take care of it!

Going from straight hair to wavey. Any tips?

don't wash it for a couple days. you can rinse in the shower with water but do not use shampoo/conditioner or other products.

after the couple days you just apply curl defining conditioner lotion about 1 tspoon. and let it dry. use a round brush a little on the bang are if you have shorter bangs / blow dry a couple of the bangs / top with brush/dryer. let the rest air dry.

if you want all waves don't blow try at all. just apply your styling choice product and then you pick it out. don't comb through curls as you drag them down.

there is also a little tube of product you can by at Sally beauty supply. curl n lock. it takes the smell out of the perm. helps. you will not smell so much like a wet dog. lol. ask your hairdresser to use a nice perm/ one right for your hair / but one that smells better.

enjoy your new curls !
