Straight hair???? HELP?

yah i have really frizzy poofy like hair and wavy its kind of long like mid-back and takes for ever to straighten! well i have it cut into layers at least to make it a littlle thinner but ive heard that chemical straightne or what ever does not work at all? what can i do?

Straight hair???? HELP?

hey girl i know EXACTLY how you feel cause my hair's just like yours! This is totally works for me, and it produces sleek, silky and straight hair!! You are going to need:

A shower

A blow drier

A straightener

A boar brush

Conditioner

Ok, here's a step by step way to straighten your hair:

1. Shower, and when you're comb in some conditioner without rinsing. (Preferably straightening shampoo!) This will tame down the frizz a ton and make your hair beautifully sleek and soo much more easier to straiten! But watch out, because if you put in too much, your hair will look like a grease ball!

2. Flip your hair up and down repeatedly to shake the water out and to separate your hair from chunks.

3. When your done, clip up your hair in layers, leaving a layer down.

4. Using a boar brush, blow-dry your hair strait. Point the blow drier down from the top of your head so that it flows with your hair, NEVER have it go up because that's a one way ticket to frizz ville! Repeatedly brush your hair, pulling it so that it strait with tension, not lax.

5. When you are done with one layer, unclip another and do that one until your entire head is done.

WARNING: Do NOT leave any part of your hair wet! That totally damages your hair and frizzes it like crazy!

6. Once again clip up your hair in layers leaving one section down.

7. This time, you are going to straighten it with a pre-heated straightener. You'll discover that your hair is wayy more ready to go your way and not at all as frizzy!

8. When you are done with one layer, do another, one at a time until your hair is all the way done.

and VIOLA! You have sleek, adorable, and silky hair. Hope this helps and hope you get some more ideas!!!

Straight hair???? HELP?

Chemical straightening actually works very well. It's expensive, but if you get it done your hair will be permanantly straight until it grows out. :]

If you don't have the money to get it done, try straightening your hair in layers. It works a lot better!

Straight hair???? HELP?

chemically straightening your hair does work ! but its very expensive.

what hair straightner do you use?

i suggest GHD yess its alittle expensive buts its well worth it and you only have to run the straighten down the strand of hair once and its straight..

Straight hair???? HELP?

a chemical straightener will relax your hair and will drop the curls but its not a mirical and really damages your hair. id suggest do it but only 1z every 6 months and dont expect straight hair. Other wise its a battle with the straighteners and friz ease. sorry hun there isnt a hell of a lot you can do. Dont put short layers in as it will bounce all the more but curly hair is very in a the mo so id say play about with it and find a style thats easy to do and that you like. if you really hate it then put a chemical straightener and blow dry in small sections with a large round bristle blowdry brush that you can pick up from boots for aound 鎷?, and use some proffesional straightening creams to reduce breakage. good luck

Straight hair???? HELP?

ummmm sometimes the chemical doesnt work but it most likely does! if you dont want to do that go to a pro at a really nice hair salon and ask them to cut your hair the way they think it will work out to be straight and not be so frizzy! if that doesnt cut it then get frizz ezz gel and shampoo they also make conditioner! that helps me alot! also you could tell the stylest how long/short you want your hair and they can cut it that short and make it a cute style! also they can show you how to style it to make it look like it did when your stylest did it! hopefully this helps you!

Straight hair???? HELP?

well it depends on the straightener you have

i suggest the Sedu, its fantastic

Straight hair???? HELP?

First of all, chemical straighteners (relaxers) DO work. They break down the chemical bonds in curly hair and rearrange them differently, so the hair is straight. Other methods for straightening hair are the Brazilian keratin treatment and thermal reconditioning. All three methods are damaging to hair, but will straighten your it effectively (the effects keratin treatment and thermal reconditioning will decrease with time, and have to be redone).

If you're looking to straighten your hair by simply styling it, I recommend that you invest in products to help you achieve the style you want, beginning with shampoo and conditioner. Remember that hair styles best when it is slightly dirty, so don't shampoo and then immediately style - try doing so the day before. Second, condition your hair well. Next, blot your hair gently with a soft towel. Apply a light product that will protect your hair and dry your hair with your fingers until it is 75%-80% dry. Then use a round brush and a blow dryer on a low heat setting to dry your hair the rest of the way - remember, your blow dryer should always be following your brush. Lastly, flat iron your hair and use a finishing product to protect your style from the elements.

Tip: Try to keep your style for a few days to give your hair a break.

Tip: Of course, you could always try and make peace with your natural texture via the right products and proper care.

Best of luck, I'm sure your hair will look gorgeous!
