I have short STRAIGHT hair?

i wonder if i coudl sue a straighner as a lifting tool, to lift andmake a "wave" inmy hair, how do I explain this, like give my hair a lift by using a straightner?if i use hair putty

You can use some root lifter and then hold the hair straight up and place the flat iron at the root and pull through and kind of bend the hair gradually to under cup the ends. good luck. It works for longer hair also. Allow the hair to cool down before combing through, then just finger lift and spray.

you can also get it to curl with a straightening iron

next time you get your haircut.. ask your stylist how to use the iron to create volume and curl
