Straight hair do (reiterated)?

How do people make their hair in a bun and part have their hair parted to one side? I think it's usually done with gel, can someone please educate me with the process?

I use this hairstyle quite a bit at work. First you'll need to part your hair. Since I'm guessing that a side-part isn't one you wear often then I would recommend parting your hair after you get out of the shower or when it's damp. It will stay and appear less poofy initially that way. To part the hair, take a comb, starting on either the left or the right side typically above the middle of the eye with the comb angled straight back, and draw a line going towards the back of your head in the hair with the comb. Then comb the hair over. Then you can apply an anti-frizz or styling product to the hair, and comb it back into a low ponytail. Next, you'll want to twist the ponytail as tight as you can and wrap the hair around the hairband used to secure the ponytail. Finally, secure the bun with bobby pins and set the hairstyle with hairspray. Hope that helps!

you have to make your part then comb back your hair to the sides and back. this makes your part to still be shown and you can just put the back of the hair into a bun. hope my answer was useful.

First, part your hair the way you want it,then tie it back in a low slung ponytail, then twist the pony-tail into a rope like deal, than wrap the rope part around the ponytail holder into kind of like a ball, or disc shape. Next, secure with bobby pins or wrap another ponytail holder around it.

they part it, comb it back, and put it up in a bun. atleast that is how i do it. and it gets all the boys to look at me!

Part your hair and make sure it is smooth on both sides, then pull it back with your hands, gently, into a pony tail. Don't use the brush to do this or it might pull the hair straight back, ruining the part. If there are bumps, straighten them out with your fingers. Once you have the pony tail you can then put it in a bun. Hope this helps!
