well i straighten my hair everyday for years and now it hardly ever gets curly and if it does its like just BARELY not even hardly wavy! and i have HORRIBLE split ends! like 5 inches worth! i dont want to wear my hair the way it is naturally, because i dont like it the way it is now and i so i was thinking if i just get a perm and wear it curly for the entire summer would that help with my split ends? and if i do get a perm does anyone have any tips about that?

you need to cut the split ends. you can just use products that help with split ends. there is trseme spray you spray on your hair to protct from heat. i would use that.

Nothing can heal split ends- you need to get them cut to protect your hair.
However when you get them cut it'll encourage quicker hair growth, and then a perm will help the rest of your hair while giving it a rest from straightening!
Take care to condition permed hair really well- it can be very damaging!

It sounds like you are really damaging your hair. You should get the split ends cut and really start moisturizing and put away the straightener. You can get your hair straight with a blow dryer and some smoothing serum like biosilk by Paul Mitchel. Getting a perm, I think would do nothing more than damage your hair more.

If I were you, I would just leave it naturally, don't straighten it or get a perm or dye it or what ever. Make sure you brush or comb it softly so you wont rip out a lot of your hair. Cut off the split ends and just let it grow naturally for 6 months to a year so it can adjust to it's normal nature. You can obviously get it trimmed regularly to prevent dead ends. That will make sure your hair is healthy again.

cut the split ends and take cold showers because it makes hair grow faster and thickens it :D
