okk...i have really bad wavy hair...and if i dont' put baby oil on it...they get sooo puffy and frizzy that its hard to manage it. How could i straighten my hair and how can they get not soo frizzy without using a straighting iron? plzzzzz help

I usually use a big round curling iron when I want my hair really straight because it pulls it better being wrapped around the iron as opposed to just being flattened. The curl doesn't stay in if I put creme in afterwards. I use to use baby oil too but I started using a little pink lotion or olive oil lotion after I got out of the shower instead, it won't straighten it but it helps to keep the frizz out with maybe a little gel after. I think with blow drying my hair it can take tooo long, dry out ur hair, and because I have very thick hair makes it look frizzier. Hope this helps

there really is no other way to get ur hair as effectly straight without a straightner iron. but the straightening shampoos/conditioner/creams by sunsilk DO help to eliminate some of the wave in my hair. there are also good products by tresseme that help to straighten hair. sometimes blow drying your hair from root to tip with a round brush can help to make hair straighter. after you style your hair, put a frizz-free cream or serum into your hair (try frizz ease by john freida) hope that works!!!

well look for shampoo and products that will help with the frizz. I have straight hair so I am not sure which ones are good. As far as the striaghtening your hair with out a specialized iron, use a blow dryer and a brush.

use leave in conditioner for me baby oil doesnt work it just makes my hair look like i havent showered in days... i would recommend blow drying your hair with a round brush ... but if you dont want to damage your hair with heat then take a shower in the afternoon and make sure to not go out because when you go out the wind just creates mess (at least for my hair = wavy and frizzy as well) you should braid your hair , make the braid loose and make sure the braid is big , no little braids and sleep with it ... your hair , if its like mine , you will wake up with cute wavy beachy hair... its summer so... you might like it

dont use baby oil!!!! dosent it leave your hair really greasy??

use a good conditioner when you was your hair and try to only do clarifying shampoos cuz most shampoos dry out your hair which is what causes the frizziness. you may want to deep condition every month to it will keep your hair shiny and moisturized and keep it from getting so frizzy. use some gel after you wash/ b4 u style and a little leave in conditioner and it wont be frizzy at all. also there is this stuff called 'friz-ease' you can find it at sally's beauty supply or any well stocked beauty supply

for straitening w/o the iron hmmm you could blow dry but that migh make it frizz up...hmm dont really know any other way besides the iron... you might try a perm??

I have the same exact hair! ( Well if are a girl then I do! ) I use VaVoom Forming Gel before I blow-dry it. Then I get out my Chi Flat Iron ( get the Original Chi Ceramic Flat Iron ) and straighten it! Then spray it with some Garnier Fuctis Hair Spray and it looks like I have naturally stick straight hair!!

not to be rude but try pressing it back in the lets say dirty south they did a lot of lying about heritage they didn't have eclectic curling irons so they used the stove they call them marcells they made metal combs for blks to straighten their hair i did it once to one of my white friends it helped a little sounds like you may have what we blks call "to good to be to good not to be" (to good to be nappy to good not to be natural curly) like holly berry or chilly or Ashley on the prince of bell air

try a perm from the blk beauty supply store some blks with hair that's a little like Holly's can use chemicals to straighten it somewhat

alls i can say is its not cool to find out family secrets in the blk beauty supply store when your parents could of just kept it real i have a couple of friend that i almost lost like that
