by a good hair straightener i recomend teh CHI it might be a little pricey but they work reallly good and i also recommend getting a good hair sryum to tame the frizz protect ur hair and help straighten, also proper blow drying will help GOOD LUCK!

first thing, get a hair straightener, a good one because if you have wavy hair you need a good quaility one to do a good job, if you dont know wich ones are good go to a salon and ask a profesional. when you straighten your hair section it in half, then the halfs into a top half and a bottom half, keep separated with clips, straighten one part at a time. this is enough to make it straight, but it still might be a bit frizzy. get at least three hair products, a shampoo for smoothing/flattening hair, a gel that you put in your hair when its wet before you dry it, and a wax/spray to use after you straighten it as the final step to make your hair smooth and shiny!

There are a few things you could do. If you don't want a permanent process, just use a gloss serum and a good flat iron. If you want something permenant, Japanese Thermal Ionic processes are nice, but if you have damaged hair, I would avoid this since it is a chemical process. I have frizzy crazy wavy hair too, and its not curly or pretty waves either. First of all I use salon strength conditioner, to help make it easier to work with. I then straighten it every day with a Revlon Wet to Set Tourmaline/ Ceramic Straightener.It works great, especially if you use ion lusterizing cream with it. The straightener works on dry or wet hair, and the cream makes it very shiny.

You should get a Chi straighting iron. They are great. They are expensive but really worth it. You should also get some type of serum. (example Chi silk infusion, Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell)
