BAD IDEA, your hair is never the same, perm straight makes it look unatural. Do better with a ceramic temp straightener every morning, or ones you can do right after shower. You can also get shampoos to make it straight. Be proud of your curly hair!

If the permanent straightener isn't done right it can really damage your hair. Even it is done right it can still dry your hair out depending on the condition of your hair. At least with curly hair you have the option to wear your hair straight. There is nothing better than a natural curl !!!

if you continually get it straightened as it grows out it can be healthy if you allow a professional to do it everytime...the bad part is it could cause your hair to thin out if your hair is not in good condition and you can never get the hair you straightened curly again it alters that hair forever

and whatever that other person said is wrong, you should not put heat on your hair everyday that causes severe damage.
