Are you from America are another Western country? In America white people virtually own everything (seriously) and white Americans pretty much decide what's attractive and whats not. Just look at Hollywood, must of the "black" actress aren't even fully black, their mixed black and white most of the time. I think it's sad that people of color are brainwashed into thinking blond hair, light skin, and blue eyes are attractive. Me personally, find darker features more attractive then the "blond American girl" image that's shoved down our throats everyday in the media!

Is it? I always wanted curly hair. Mine is so straight and boring. When you have curly hair, you can straighten it and then go back curly. My straight hair won't keep a curl.

Not to me!! I have naturally straight hair and I do not like it that way--too bushy and I can't do anything with it at all. I get a tight spiral perm every year or so. It just looks better on me. I've probably had curly hair now for about 14 years.

Personally, I straighten my hair as you get a better shine to it. It looks glossy and almost strokable. I have typical celtic hair and if I leave it curly it gets dreadfully tangled. Brushing my hair if I've been out in the wind is torture!
