How do you wash long straight hair?

Without too much shampoo and or conditioner, which ends up making my hair look all "boofy" for a few days and I notice I loose some hair when I wash my hair as well. - Is that due to insufficent intake of vitamins and minerals?

I don't know actually. I used to have long, straight hair before I donated about eight inches of it to Locks of Love. My hair has grown out again and, as always no matter what length, THICK.

Here's what I do to make it look great:

wash with any shampoo and conditioner, dime-sized amount from the tips and roots. If it's really...boofy....use just a leeeetle more conditioner to smooth it down. You may want to apply some of it while bending over with your hair flipped over in front of your face. That way, you can get all of it without having to strain your arms.

Blow-dry it-very important for controlling a lot of hair.

(Even though your hair is straight-do this. It will take care of frizz and flyaways) Straighten it, but only for a few seconds per strand. You don't want to give your hair much more heat than from the blowdryer. Too much heat can damage hair.

Use two drops of hair gel for the roots down to the tip for healthy shine and more smoothing. Also controls frizz for when you go outside.

Its normal. Your meant to loose about 100 hairs a day. It happens to me especially after ive had my hair up. I wouldnt worry too much. There are vitamins that can help strenthen your hair but i wouldnt worry too much.

its not a problem when you lose about 10 hairs to 40 hairs when you are taking head bath, but one thing , your scalps are little weak. its better you go for regular hot oil massages, that stimulate blood circulation and makes hair loss seem lesser, and makes hair stronger. brush hair regularly.

take a hair wash one in two weeks, use clear shampoos, that are mild. and immediately blow dry after you have dried your hair, and then use detanglers, that leaves hair smoother and manageable. once you apply the detangler and brush your hair will not look boofy as you say. alright

have a nice time them

but boofy hair looks great!

I used to have very long hair and I would use conditioner only, no shampoo. I don't think vitamins and minerals have anything to do with it, after all - hair is dead. Use the best conditioner you can get.( doesn't need to be expensive)
